Access has been opened to the Strengthening Business Together inclusivity training course developed by the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine with support from the International Labour Organization and the Government of Belgium. 

The Strengthening Business Together course is a practical tool for company development.It will help meet legislative requirements concerning employment of persons with disabilities, build a cohesive team and improve staff efficiency, adapt workplaces for persons with disabilities. Besides, the knowledge acquired during completion of the course will allow to minimize costs of workplace accommodation and avoid fines.

Within the Strengthening Business Together course, you will receive in-depth knowledge, practical tools, best cases, and an official certificate”, experts of the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine said at the training course presentation that took place on 17 September 2025.

The Razom (Together) platform offers free access to the Employment of Persons with Disabilities practical guide that contains systematized practice-oriented knowledge necessary both for undergoing the next part of the training and for full understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of job placement of persons with disabilities in Ukraine. Besides, the Together platform contains the Recommendations on development and implementation of an internal corporate policy on integration of persons with disabilities.

The Strengthening Business Together training course is focused on practice, not on theory. It contains examination of case studies related to job placement of persons with disabilities, algorithms of actions in this process, instructions on workplace adaptation for various disabilities, and recommendations for creating a positive psychological climate in the team.

 “These are off-the-shelf solutions that can be implemented right after the training”, the experts noted.

The course was created for corporate personnel decision-makers: business managers, HR specialists, and unit managers. The course is intended for all types of enterprises. It is particularly relevant to the enterprises that are obliged by the legislation to place more than two employees with disabilities in a job.

The course consists of three modules. The Basic module contains core knowledge on job placement of persons with disabilities. The Enterprise Self-check module provides the participants with practical skills of analyzing key enterprise activity aspects important for effective job placement of persons with disabilities. The Internal Policy Development module shapes practical skills of developing and implementing an internal corporate policy on integration of persons with disabilities. Each of them can be self-sufficient, or participants can complete all three modules in succession.

The Strengthening Business Together training course has been developed by the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine within the framework of the project "Establishing a consultative system for the integration of persons with disabilities into the workplace". This project is implemented with the support of the International Labour Organization’s initiative funded by the Government of Belgium, titled "ILO Support to Ukraine: prevention of labour exploitation and human trafficking, support to entrepreneurship development and social partners" as well as the ILO RBSA project "Promoting inclusive and sustainable reconstruction in Ukraine".
