| "From Margin to Mainstream: Disability in Business" conference, 27-28 November 2024 |

The ILO Global Business and Disability Network (GBDN) will host its 11th global annual conference "From Margin to Mainstream: Disability in Business" on 27th and 28th November 2024 at the ILO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland – using a hybrid modality. This free-of-charge conference will allow for the welcoming of new ILO GBDN members, the exchange on good corporate practices on disability inclusion, the presentation of latest business initiatives on disability at global and local level as well as the informal networking of conference participations. The conference will see the launch of two ILO GBDN knowledge products, i.e. one on disability-inclusive Environmental, Social, and governance (ESG) and one on disability-inclusive supply chains.

| COSP 17 side event: Businesses driving a sustainable future, 10 June |

| The ILO GBDN side event at the 17th Conference of States Parties (COSP17) to the CRPD – co-sponsored by the United Nations Global Compact and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) – will highlight latest good corporate practices as they relate to the employment of persons with disabilities in companies’ sustainability efforts, including as part of wider ESG strategies. |

| Disability-inclusive Employment: Zero Project 2025 |

| The ILO GBDN is partnering with the Zero Project to encourage companies to nominate their good practices in the area of disability-inclusive employment. The Zero Project focuses on researching and advancing innovative solutions for the inclusion of persons with disabilities. The ILO GBDN webinar “Disability-inclusive Employment: Corporate Nominations for #ZeroCall25“ on 24 April 2024 presented the Zero Project Call for Nominations 2025 (#ZeroCall25), which focuses on the topics of disability-inclusive and accessible employment. |

| The ILO GBDN webinar on reasonable accommodations at work discussed how recognising and accommodating individual needs can help companies create work environments that truly welcome the diversity of their staff, including people with disabilities. The webinar featured Mark Bell, Regius Professor of Laws, Trinity College Dublin; Sarah Cline, Global Workplace Inclusion & Diversity Lead, Accenture; Andy Garrett, Workplace Adjustments and Accessibility Director, GSK; and Daniel Mwesigwa Iga, Board Member, World Network of Users and Survivors of Psychiatry. |
