Easy-to-read version: Making the green transition inclusive for persons with disabilities
 
Fundación ONCE and the ILO Global Business and Disability Network published an easy-to-read version of the 2023 publication "Making the green transition inclusive for persons with disabilities" which takes a closer look at the transition to a greener world of work and how it affects opportunities and challenges for the inclusion of persons with disabilities.

Two international NGOs join the GBDN
 
The Sustainable Hospitality Alliance joins the ILO GBDN. The Sustainable Hospitality Alliance creates initiatives and partners with other organisations to promote disability inclusion in the hospitality sector.  ShareQ provides support to companies that want to recruit persons with disabilities and improve their inclusion, as well as helping persons with disabilities find job opportunities.

Inclusive sound environments at Orange
 
Workspace management at Orange now integrates disabilities in the conception of work environments to ensure that the needs of all employees are taken into account. This creates more inclusive work environments for persons with disabilities. Three different sound environments were created, which is inclusive to different sensorial needs: quiet and calm; confidential; and dynamic and lively.

Zain partners with Studio Exception to pioneer an inclusive product design: a step towards empowering diversity
 
Zain recently partnered with Studio Exception, a renowned expert in inclusive product design, to embark on a journey to create a ground-breaking inclusive product. This product will set new standards for inclusive design in the telecommunications industry. This collaboration commended with a two-day workshop held at Zain's headquarters in Kuwait.

Policy brief and disability-inclusive guidelines for small and medium enterprises in Bangladesh
 
Sightsavers Bangladesh developed a set of disability-inclusive guidelines to support small and medium sized enterprises in hiring persons with disabilities. These guidelines are based on consultations with persons with disabilities and government stakeholders.

Capgemini France signs landmark agreement for disability inclusion
 
The UES (economic and social unit) of Capgemini France has signed their 6th agreement in favor of employment and inclusion of people with disabilities. This agreement covers a 3 year period and represents a renewed commitment to accelerate the company's long-term goal towards full inclusion. 
 
Guide on "Internationalisation of Disability Policies"
 
In December 2023, Manifest Inclusion's Working Group created a guide on legislation and cultural perceptions of the employment of persons with disabilities in 12 countries around the world.
